On Saturday 26th November a new St Andrews Day Rally was held in Armadale and was attended by Artizans/Bowmen Frank Sarah and Gordon. Despite the blustery weather, the rain held off to allow us to march behind the local pipe band without gettin drookit. Also in attendance were members of Siol nan Gaidheal, the Society of William Wallace, Fellowship of the Thistle and the Tartan Army. The rally was well attended for a first event and speeches were given at the Highlander Bar by John Eadie and the Sons of Wallace T.A. Alaister Scott-Stewart of the Fellowship, and our own Sarah Crome. An evening event was arranged butt we had to head off to Winchburgh event.
Organised by Bowmen Mike and Kate Smith at St Philomena's Church Hall, where our band Freedom's Flame and accordianist Jan Kolowski entertained the punters and £230 was raised for McMillan Nurses. A good night was had by all and a big shout to members of Clann Gaidhealtach and our very own Frank(Elvis) Boyd for some lively dancing, look forward to next year already,
