ARTIZANS VISIT SCRIBBLERS PICNIC

A short trip to Stirling was the next venue for the Artizans as the knights of old graced the beautiful backdrop of Stirling castle and the Wallace monument. Our foot soldiers once again gained wonderful credit as the crowds and royalty mingled and exchanged photographs. It was great to be surrounded by the lands which won Scotland her freedom of independence and gave that extra shine to us being there. It was a first for most of the Artizans as the music festival filled up with locals well into the afternoon and different music styles were blasted out to a well-appreciated crowd. A menshy goes out to our own stage dwellers Ted Christopher, Kate Smith and Gordon Aitken who treated everyone to a rendition of their own work…well done guys.
A big thankyou also goes out to our own heroes who worked hard on the day and deserve a mention on our roll of honour: Duncan Thomson, Jim & Lynn Tannock, Chris Pollock, Paul & Susan Hunter, Rachael Alden, Connor and Robert, David and Christine Murdoch.
