Lennox Literary Society welcomes Artizan Sarah
Balloch Library was the venue for the November meeting of the Lennox Literary Society. Despite horrible weather there was a healthy turnout to hear Artizan Sarah Crome, now resident in Bonhill, speak about her book Scotland's First War of Independence, and about Konstantina Ritsou's story of Andrew de Moray, The Boy and the Well of Memory. There was very keen interest in the illustrated talk, particularly when she spoke about Bruce's years among us in the Lennox.
Artizan Tommy assisted with the slideshow of stills from the book and Elspeth and Frank were also in attendance to take part in the question and answer session which was very lively since audience members were keen to learn more about the Bruce history and the work of the Artizans.
Sarah is to be congratulated for her excellent talk, hopefully the first of many in the Lennox.
