The Helensburgh Games carried on where they finished off last year, baked in wonderful sun and a mass of visitors from all over the world. Our troops arrived early doors to set up our magical stall and come 12 pm marched with the officials and VIPs in the walk as guards of honour. Again we must thank the organisers for this honour by bestowing it to the Artizans. Everyone worked their socks off in attracting the visitors to our table; discussing The Robert the Bruce Heritage Centre and its function, and not just the kids trying on the ancient armour but the mums and dads as well. Mingling in with our visiting foreigners provided a good chance for our guys to use they’re people skills and in doing so done incredibly well, and I’m sure made a lot of fiends on the day by exchanging business cards for future reference…all good for the centre. The proof of the pudding was the numbers of people at our table and we must congratulate everyone for a fantastic and successful effort…well done RTB troops. Our roll of honour goes out to: Duncan, Queenie Rachael, Jim and Lynn, Chris and Harriot, David and Christine, Paul and Susan, Elaine the photographer, Frank and Liz, and last but not least in anyway…bigJP.
CONGRATS!!
