‘THE TRUTH VERSUS THE WORLD’
At the ‘Ma Centre’ in Renton, scholars and laymen/women alike were treated to Scotland’s ancient past, as her secrets kept the audience spellbound, through a deep thoughtful silence. Given to our audience were newly found facts, ideas and opinions, shared around the centre, some which have only come to light in the last couple of years.
Guest speakers Stuart Smith (Strathleven Artizans) and Barry Dunford writer (‘Holy lands of Scotland’ and Visions of Albion ‘the key to the Holy grail’) revealed the past in almost magical detail, making the 2 hours seem too short to fit everything in.
Halfway through this thought provoking evening, there was a helpful break for our speakers, where the Artizans most helpful foot soldiers laid on tea/coffee and snacks to help our keen audience digest the newly passed on knowledge.
After the speeches there was a question and answer period which Barry was only too pleased to indulge more details to our captive onlookers who, no doubt were given much food for thought to take home with them.
Included in the topic this evening was Jesus and Mary Magdalene, the Christ lineage in Scotland, Pontius Pilate, the Culdee connection, the Celtic Church, King Robert the Bruce in Dumbarton, Mount Schiehallion in Perthshire and the human spiritual journey.
A huge thank you from the Strathleven Artizans to all who journeyed to Renton and making it a very worthwhile and fascinating evening.
