Strathleven Artizans King Robert the Bruce was invited through to Abbott House In Dunfermline for a photo shoot as part of this weeks Bruce Festival programme.

We had some children from a local nursery and they presented King Robert the Bruce with a new Bruce banner which will hang in Abbott house.

Around a dozen kids enjoyed meeting the King and having their photos taken with him in different parts of Dunfermline Abbey and at The Abbott's house.

A BIG thank you goes to our King “Frank Boyd” who stood in for our regular and Rightful King aka Paul Hunter who is unwell at the moment and confined to his bed, a speedy recovery to Paul from all your fellow Bowmen.

Come and meet King Robert the Bruce in Person this coming week end 26th - 28th August 2011 at the Bruce Festival which is held in Pittencrieff Park Dunfermline a great day out for all the family and it's all free !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
