The Strathleven Artizans where invited in to the Centre, which is situated on Bruce Street, to be presented with a work of art completed by the art group. Rachel Alden our very own queen at the Artizans works in the Centre and co-ordinates the art group.

The Artizans received a warm welcome from Kate Quinn Centre Manager and the art group. Being treated to a homemade chocolate cake and beverages. The art work will be displayed in The Robert the Bruce Heritage Centre proudly. The Artizans presented the group with a replica great seal of Scotland used by The Bruce himself. This will be displayed pride of place within the Day Centre.

The Artizans spoke and answered questions on Bruce and his time in the area. They then had the opportunity to look at other pieces of art work on display within the Day Centre. And where very impressed.

Kate thanked the Artizans for their gift and time and expressed how much everyone had enjoyed the visit.
