Several members of Strathleven Artizans had the privilege of attending Christina McKelvie's Election victory party in the George bar in Hamilton on Sunday 8th of May 2011, we joined in with Christina’s family, friends, SNP party members and her staff to celebrate her magnificent victory in the Hamilton, Larkhall and Stonehouse Consistuency, over heavyweight Labour candidate Tom McCabe with an increased majority and returned to The Scottish Parliament for a second term.

The Artizans are proud to call Christina a friend and we were delighted to help her out during the build up to the Election when we had a whole group of us turn up in our medieval gear with King Robert the Bruce leading the parade in Larkhall and Hamilton the week end before the Election.

We wish Christina all the best during her 5 years as a MSP as well as the new SNP government and hope they take the Country forward into a bright new future.

Remember Christina, King Robert and his 40 Bowmen are ready and waiting to help you anytime in the future all the best and good luck…………….Alba Gu Brath
