28/29 -08-2010 BRUCE FESTIVAL DUNFERMLINE

The Strahleven Artizans left the village of Renton and made there way to Dunfermline to participate in the Bruce festival in the picturesque backdrop of Pittencrieff Park .The weather was glorious both days and people gathered in their hundreds to watch the medieval action, with the craft display, kids events, and music. The stunt performers were the centre piece of the battle re-enactment.taking us back to the life as it was in Bruce times.

It was a great two days meeting the public, and spreading the word about Bruce and his connections in Renton, lots of photos where taken with children and adults with our own Bruce, and everyone looked spectacular in their medieval outfits. A big thanks to all the guys and girls of the Artizans, and a special thanks to Sarah and Philip Crome, and their two daughters for lending a hand, and also to Zoe Urquhart and Allan Cormack for letting us have our picture taken sitting on their stunning 8yr old Clydesdale, Swordale of Knockandhu stud, better known as Bluebird, she was an absolute gem.
