09-09-2011 BOOK SIGNING STIRLING SMITH MUSEUM

The Royal entourage travelled by horse and cart to the true capital of medieval Scotland…Stirling. Camping at the base of this ancient Fortress, our warriors began to ensemble in full armour and dress. A skirmish at the Stirling Smith Museum failed to halt the entrance of our troops as we took this small fort/museum without losses. A group had gathered in homage to our great brother-in-arms Andrew De Moray and fabulous speeches by Author Konstantina Ritsou and Sarah Crome enthralled the onlookers.

As the author says; The story of Andrew De Moray was actually written in history by Andrew De Moray himself. Congratulations to Konstantina for her Greek insight into the memory of this outstanding man. The camp musicians Kate, Gordon and Frank entertained the Stirling visitors with a nice rendition of a Robert Burns favourite. Finishing off a great book signing, was a nice chat between all involved over a coffee and tea, and a very nice walk around the museum itself. It’s been a busy year for the Artizans and this visit was one of many that benefited from our group’s schedule. Well done to all. A huge pat on the back for all who ventured to this holy grail of Scotland..

Hail the Bruce!
